- Only launch in dry, calm/windless conditions
- Launch in an open space - far away from airports, buildings, overhead cables, pylons and major roads. (NOT FOR INDOOR USE)
- Launch away from dry crops, woodlands and grazing animals.
- Do not launch in an area where the glow could be confused as a distress signal.
- Have water or a fire extinguisher to hand.
- This is not a toy - for adult use only - do not allow children to light the lantern.
- Damaged lanterns must not be used.
How to use:
It is easier with two people - one to hold the lantern and one to light the fuel cell.
- Remove lantern from the plastic sleeve and unfold carefully to avoid tears. Next, gently remove the protective sheet from the fuel block.
- Hold the lantern from the top in an upright position with the lantern fully extended. Hold the lantern out at arms length and get your adult helper to light the fuel block.
- Keep hold of the lantern as it will take about one minute to inflate with hot air.
- When you feel the lantern starting to rise, guide it and let it go.

We would like to assure our customers that all of our lanterns carry the required CE mark. They are 100% Bio-degradeable - made from flame-retardant paper, a bamboo frame and a solid fuel cell.

All manufacturers in the EU and abroad must meet CE mark requirements where applicable in order to market their products in Europe. Once a product has earned the Conformite Europeene Mark, it may be marketed throughout the EU without having to undergo further modifications in each member state. That’s why the CE Mark has been called the “trade passport” for Europe.
